These weekend trips make it very hard to come back here to the same ol' room and do the same ol' stuff. As soon as we entered NH, we were greeted with rain and traffic, after perfect conditions in VT all weekend.

We got in late Thursday night, after the 4 hour drive to Colchester Point. There were 9 of us there over the course of the weekend - Me, Nate, Laura, Glen, Anne Marie, Nathaniel, Fati, Andy and Glen's ma Lynn. Full house!

As you can see, the cabin was RIGHT on the lake, which made for a lot of laying - swimming - laying - dozing off - eating - laying - swimming all weekend long. It was awesome.

I could specify day by day what we did, but it was pretty much just a continuous cycle of sleeping, eating, reading, board games, drinking, swimming, and fire making. I took about 8,000 naps and finally finished Wise Blood. We did have one huge thunderstorm and Nate almost lost his tent, but other than that it was sunny.

I WON Balderdash. Check out the 'tude.

Tubin' (the lake is awesome - you can go out ridiculously far and still touch the ground)

Fatou and Anne Marie makin dough for the pizzas (so good. Also, Fati is 4 months along. Cutest belly)

I didn't shower for 3 days. I was all lake water and sun screen.

So much fun - I don't think I've laughed quite that much in a long time...
