You know on The Office when they find out that one branch is downsizing and all of the people have to move to the other branch? Well my week has been like that, but instead of downsizing and moving, my division is closing all together. So, as soon as January 1st or as late as February, I will be out of a job. Of course, I never got my chance to be full-on HIRED, but still, you give 6 months of your life to someone...

So I'm back on the search, reading about how I need to be proficient in Powerpoint and Lotus Notes. Gahh.. And have I mentioned how much I HATE writing cover letters?

It could be worse, I know. I don't have kids or a spouse to worry about. Just rent and gym and phone and school loans and umm. Well, I'd like to keep saving money.

Charm School is coming up soon:

This weekend Hunter's mom, step-dad, brother Garrison and brother's girlfriend Chloe are coming in to town. We going to go to Olives on Saturday, which we've been wanting to try for some time now. I've already got my eye on:

Tortelli of Butternut Squash
Brown butter, sage & Parmesan…

or

Chestnut Ravioli
Mascarpone chestnut filled ravioli, pureed spinach & nutmeg

(Yes I enjoy writing about food in my blog. Die die die.)

Next week is tame but then the week after is insane with King Kahn and BBQ Show, Richard Hawley, Charm School, my cooking class (finally!,) Pete and Cat's x-mas party and god knows what else.

I dont know what to buy anyone for Christmas.

Gah I guess it's been a while huhhhhh. Rather than give you a long boring account of the last week and a half, here's some frickin pictures.

My attraction to the oversized "pizza" shirt was incredible:

Do you like my non-costume costume?

Beardless Baberham Lincoln:

Me and Hunter just got back from WA. Here's some of that..

Pointless battery at Fort Warden:

Hunter as... Robert Redford?

Lighthouse at Fort Warden:

Seal pup that looks dead but is not actually dead:

Hunter really loved this damn log. Mom is impressed?

Looking over the land.. er, water:

Amazin Opus Hotel (Vancouver):

One of many beer samplers!

Hanging out with the Irish in an Irish bar in Bellingham

Bird Noir liked sitting on Hunter's head

OOOOOO

Opus Hotel was the best part of the trip. We also enjoyed the 8,000 types of beers we tasted at various breweries. We came back fat and poor, just as nature intended.
