hey so I went to New York and I went to Jamaica and started a new job.

New York = This man telling Nneka that Obama is a crackhead who is "30-40% emaciated." We ran into him at some party celebrating the internet at Hiro Ballroom.

Also, there was a lot of time spent with Maria and Heather.

I spent a good amount of time wandering around Union Square with Doug and Ellena and ate pizza with cranberries on it. I also had the BEST Mexican food right by Nneka's place in Greenpoint. Plus there was dancing to Darin's djing, drinking wine on roofs and lazying in the 85 degree weather.

And on to Jamaica. Our flight left around 6am, and we got in by 11:30 or so. We were wisked (aha!) to our villa at Half Moon and had a bit before the rest of Hunter's fam got there. Needless to say, the place was innnncredible

(that was our pool, each villa had one. NUTS!)

Once everyone got in, we went out exploring in the golf carts.

Pate drove:

Half Moon main lobby:

We went to a big buffet BBQ that night (whole pig, mahi mahi, rice and peas, sugar cane, pumpkin salad etc.) We "kids" hung out at the beach waiting for it to start:

It's difficult to explain every detail of the next few days.. so here's some highlights...

Pool relaxing:

Beach relaxing and whatnot:

Creatures (we spent a lot of time "rescuing" animals from the pool):

One night we went to a restaurant called Glistening Waters.. a dude named Jerry took us out in the boat and showed us the crazy phosphorescence in the water. Jerry was a little nuts. He kept saying how he was famous and that we should take pics of the cranes.

Here's the phosphorescence seen at the back of the motorboat:

And the cranes:

And of course, Jerry:

We also at at Sugar Mill, and were serenaded by two guys and a tiny guitar with Neil Diamond's Sweet Caroline:

And snorkling! We went out in a glass bottom boat and swam over some coral reefs:

Our boat captain Kingsley:

And then there was this crazy West Indie scalp and body massage that we all had. I have decided that I need to invest in monthly massages.. it will do a lot more for me than anything else I could spend my money on I think!

Here's a few more pics because I took a lot.

At Glistening Waters:

Pate drinkin from a coconut he picked:

Alex studying during a rainstorm:

I woke up earlier than Hunter so I went down to the beach and tried to take a picture with the self-timer. Nice action shot :(

Welp, I'm tired of "blogging" so until next time...
